Providing equity for disadvantaged students
The workshop deals with the planning and implementation of
strategies within school plans that support the learning, and social
needs of young people who may be disadvantaged in schooling.
Outcomes:
- Greater appreciation of the ways in which school planning can impact
both positively and negatively on students outcomes
- Greater understanding
of the ways in which equity resources can be used to support innovation
school and classroom practices
- Greater knowledge of the scope of resources
available to all schools
- Improved use of resources of equity resources
available to only some schools
