Project designed to embed aboriginal content
into the teaching of the K-12 Science Syllabus
The project aims to view the science syllabus from the Aboriginal perspective.
Asking questions ; what knowledge and whose knowledge, validating Aboriginal
knowledge from within the community.
Outcomes:
To develop an understanding of the processes involved in creating a
greater engagement for all students with the Aboriginal content, the
building of collaborative, purposeful links with the schools Aboriginal
communities and a greater understanding of and respect for Aboriginal
people, communities and knowledge.
